Peer pressure and things such as the media affects the teenage ways. These are the many reasons teens are drinking today. According to statistics 87% of high school students have experimented with alcohol, and 56% of teens have started by 8th grade year. The younger the age of using alcohol, the more likely you are to become alcohol dependent. Underage drinkers do not consider the turns outs of this drug and how dangerous the effects may be. Drinking could lead to depression, suicidal behavior, or lead to an early death. It's unhealthy to be drinking underage but the earlier you start the more at risk you put your body in.
